DID YOU KNOW......more people are killed by pigs or falling coconuts than shark attacks.

Picture this...ally is "rapping" for the 3rd grade Roman Day next wednesday....lol...See, some lady needed someone to do something so i called her and told her i'd be willing...thinking i was signing up for a poem reading. ....she found something else though. So this morning about about 6:30 she calls and asked if i could rap a song...here's the song:

                                           The Kidnap Rap

Now Romulus was lonely and so were his men, 'Cuz every Roman rooster had to have a Roman hen.

But the Latins said, "NO!" when asked for some brides; The Etruscans and the Sabines also failed to provide.

So Romy asked the Sabines to a picnic and some games, 'til he broke up the party by grabbin the young dames!

Romy shouts,"YO SABINES, you really oughta split!-We need some females, and your daughters are it!"

The Sabine men got some weapons to go back to fight 'cuz kidnapping their daughters, man that just ain't really right!

Then the Sabines made a battle, on the very next night. They planned on really fightin', with all their burtal might.

But the battle broke up quickly when the Sabine cicks appeared saying, "Daddy please don't hurt 'em,'cuz it ain't like your fears.

The Romans really rocked us when they stole us away. But they're treatin' us real good now, and WE WANNA STAY!

so ya...that's the rap. lol whoever wrote this felt sorry for whoever got pulled into doing it...that would be me. Actually, it's not so bad. Getta dress in a toga...in my case, a sheet...pull out the cool sunglasses and a visor. ya, i'll be rockin...one day i'm gonna be a famous rapper....*breaks out in laughter*

                                                                   oh goodness

i could shoot myself...yesterday was INTERNATIONAL WOMYN'S DAY and i didn't post it on here so y'all could celebrate with me! lol...ya, i have this extremely liberal planner that has all these weird quotes and random holidays...such as internation womyn's day...((btw-yes, i know "womyn" is spelled wrong, but it's supposed to be "politically correct"...since i'm a politically correct person and all)) anyway, i thought it was slightly funny...don't get me wrong, i'm all for girl power : ) but i just thought it was kinda funny...

Hey, unfortunately I have bad news. I don't think I've told any of y'all about Mr. Abernathy, but basically he's been sick in the hospital since December 24ish with...good grief, I don't know what-sorry. I think it was something like a heart attack or brain tumor...I'm getting some people mixed up. Sorry. Anyway, he's been in the hospital since December, and he was supposed to be getting better for a little while. But then last week he started going down hill. Over the weekend they did some type testing to check up on how bad he was. He had no brain activity, and some other things were wrong-won't go into details. So basically he was living on just the ventalater((sp?)), and his wife didn't want to pull it off until she knew for sure there was nothing more they could do. So today more testing was done, and they decided to bring the kids in((5th grader, 3rd grader, 4 year old and 3 year old, the 3rd and 5th graders go to my school)) to say good-bye to their dad because they thought he would die pretty soon. And sure enough, this afternoon he passed away. I didn't know him personally, but all the same I know some people who did and he was family to some of the people in our school. So if y'all could just be praying for the Abernathy family, I'm sure they'd appreciate it.

On the brighter side, my dog is running around in circles barking. Not sure that was a "brighter side" but it's actually humerous((and at the same time really annoying)) lol, wel, i'm gonna go get some food.

                Much love,

                       Ally
